There continues to be many inquiries about paver availability and pricing levels.  We are awaiting approval of the final plan prior to making a determination of the pricing on the pavers.  This information will be posted here as soon as available.

The Mayor's office has confirmed that the mayor will be present for the groundbreaking tomorrow between 8:30 - 8:45AM.  We look forward to seeing you there and at the informational booth at Evergreen Park after the parade.

In our status meeting this evening we learned that a site-survey is required due to the slop of the site. We are in contact with both the county and a private contractor to get this completed ASAP.

The 4th of July has been verified as the official groundbreaking date.  Mayor Peter Caroon will be present at the site between 8:30AM-9:00AM on the 4th. We will also have an information booth afterwards at the fair at Evergreen Park.  We will be able to answer all your questions there and will have order forms for engraved pavers.

Thank you again for all of your support.

Brett, the architect, has uncovered some omissions of grade specifications in previous documents, therefore, he, and Dave the project manager will be meeting with county planners tomorrow to resolve the issue so that the architectural plans may be submitted for approval.  This delay will likely result in a July 4 groundbreaking rather than a July 4 completion.

On the brighter side, this minor delay has not hindered fundraising efforts in the least.  Even though the plans have yet to be finalized (and therefore the number and price of donor pavers remains unkown), Albion, the head of fundraising efforts, has not rested and has secured committments for the few major donor spots with interest from more individuals and organizations than can be accomodated.  There are still some smaller - and less expensive - donor spots yet to be taken.  While we will post the details of those here when we know them, if you are interested please let us know right away so that you may secure a first right of refusal for one of these spots.

Stay tuned...

Over the course of the last 6 weeks, several meetings have been held in which the project team has been solidified and tasks assigned.  The design is within days of completion and will be submitted to county engineers for approval immediately thereafter.  The updated design will also be posted on this site.

As a team, we are pushing for project completion in time for the July 4 parade.  In order to meet this tight deadline, many tasks are being fast-tracked and the team is working diligently to accomplish this goal.

If you are a resident of the community immediately surrounding the intersection, look for a flyer on your doorstep shortly that will have order details for the engraved pavers.

The team is out of the blocks and in full sprint, being spurred on by ever-increasing community enthusiasm!  Thank you for your encouragement and support.
